I have both ryoko bags and this one is great for non sparring days. However, I wish the mesh pocket was larger to allow sweaty equipment (elbow, knee pads and foot grips) to breathe a little more. Other than that, it’s exactly what it is described to be. Can’t comment on how rugged it is as I’ve only had it for a few weeks but the material and straps seem to be built to last. I hope to use this for years, like the bag it replaced.

I love it! It’s a multipurpose backpack for me. I need it for both work and the gym. It has enough space for my laptop, my shin guards, boxing gloves and my water bottle!
