Ankle Supports

Previous pair held up for four years of BJJ (~4 classes/wk). Machine washed after every class (quick cycle, cold water) and hung to dry. Used to reduce mat burn for my weak-sauce skin and are more convenient than the Ashi foot grips which are a pain to get on (I have a pair and they work great at protecting my skin but I only use them when the distal end of the metatarsals are scraped). I don't find the ankle supports tight/compressive but they never come off and don't need readjustment (size L, my feet are 10/10.5)

I wear one on each foot for taekwondo class and sparring training. I run laps in them, kick in them, and do endless squats and lunges on the mats and ladder drills. These hold up to running on stairs as well. If i'm sparring, i wear them under shin/instep pads.

They breathe well and still grip when they're soaked; i forget they're there.

They also hold up to machine washing and air drying; suprisingly with how much i sweat they don't smell terribly if i forget about them in a duffle bag
