I just got my pair of 16oz Thor's in today, just in time before Muay Thai class, so I got to try them out almost immediately lol.
I had been rocking a pair of $40 Everlast 14oz Elite Evershield gloves for a about a year before these, and I can say you most definitely get what you pay for! An absolute WORLD of difference wearing the Hayabusa's vs the cheap stuff! Wrist support is next level, not only with the dual wrist strap, but with the splinted support as well. Very comfy and snug with the inner padding which kept my hands from sliding around inside, even with my hand circumference sitting between the 8-9.5" range. I was worried the 16oz would be too large, given how much room my hands had in the Everlast 14oz, but I'm beginning to realize it all comes down to build quality, and the Hayabusa's got it in strides!
After putting these through their paces in a 2 hour class today, I can say 11/10 would recommend if you've got the money! If you don't care for the Marvel design, but want the same build quality and features for about $100 less, get the T3's. They're basically the same thing minus the graphic design and aesthetic stitching pattern.
